MAC Daddy XI
The Music Lives On... |
The 2008 MAC Daddy
tournament was held on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at
Stone Mountain Golf Club. Over $3800 was raised to benefit
Camp Twin
Lakes and the Kuyahoora Valley Foundation, Inc.
Camp Twin Lakes is a not-for-profit organization that offers
year-round recreational, therapeutic, and educational programs for
children facing serious illnesses and other physical, emotional
and life challenges. With its network of partners, Camp Twin Lakes
provides life-changing experiences for thousands of children each
year at its state-of-the-art, fully accessible facility, located
on 500 acres in Rutledge, Georgia, and at other locations
throughout the state.
The donation was made to Camp
Twin Lakes in memory of
Jon
Allmett, who graced the MAC Daddy with his acoustic guitar
back in 2000... the music at the MAC has lived on ever since.
Thank you, Jon. We miss you. |
