Bud Moore - 2003 ROTY
Since the day I was humbled with the CFF ROTY Award my life has changed.
This rookie's golf game has grown leaps and bounds,...yes,... scores
keep leaping and every drive slices out-of-bounds. It's been difficult
to walk down the street,... crowds everywhere,... booing, hissing,...
throwing heavy, sharp objects. This experience has taught me that one
must buckle it up a notch and grind away if the tradition of CFF ROY
"worthiness" is to stick. I pray that one day I can live up to this
prestigious honor in the heats and minds of the golf world, or at least
some old, blind man Thanks again Rick, Jim and Abe for tutoring me in
the fine art of tournament hacking. Peace, support our troops! |

Wendy Short - 2002 ROTY
(Retired CFF
contender)
Since earning the 2002 CFF ROTY honors,
my life has changed tremendously. It’s hard to describe, but my days are
now filled with confidence and serenity. My car even started getting
better gas mileage. Additionally, knowing that I am now associated with
other ROTY winners like Bud Moore, Mike “Killer” Miller, Suzette Newlun,
Gary, Karly, Skipper, Joey, Bob, Aunt Pee Wee, Mr. Coffin, and Otho
Boone (who rode on the bus with my husband back in high school) fills my
heart with warmth, like the feeling you get when you bite into a
freshly-baked chocolate chip cookie. It’s an honor I’ll never forget. |
